"Shadow of the Swastika:

The Real Reason the Government won't Debate

Medical Cannabis and Industrial Hemp Relegalization"

By R. William Davis

**************************************************

The three posts which follow this brief introduction contain the results of my three years of research into backgrounds of the prime suspects in the "hemp and marijuana conspiracy," namely William Randolph Hearst, the du Ponts, and Andrew Mellon. This document, published as an Open Letter to all Americans, reveals the evidence I have gathered that these three Americans, prominent in the Media, Petrochemical, and Banking industries in the 1930s and 1940s, were involved in a much larger conspiracy as well, during this same time period.

This larger conspiracy, which is extensively documented in Congressional Records, criminal indictments, and Justice Department files, involved a secret business and financial alliance between several major American corporations, and the Nazis, during World War II. This is not a conspiracy "theory." It is fact, and I have included a listing of all my sources.

I believe that after you read this paper, and review the extensive documentation included, you will agree that the evidence shows that the government-and corporate-sponsored repression of medicinal, industrial and, yes, even personal, use of cannabis hemp in America today, is being enforced for one reason only: to prevent any serious investigation into certain events and circumstances which existed during the creation of Marijuana Prohibition in the years leading up to World War II.

As you will see, such an investigation would reveal to the American public not only the fact that Hearst, the du Ponts, and Mellon were Nazi collaborators, but that many other U.S. corporations - among them Ford Motor Company, General Motors, ITT and Standard Oil - actively aided Nazi Germany throughout World War II, owning and operating Nazi war factories inside Germany, producing weapons, equipment and fuel which was used to kill American soldiers and sailors and airmen. Not only did these corporations directly profit financially from the blood of Americans, in 1967, the U.S. Congress awarded millions of dollars in war reparations payments and tax breaks to American corporations whose Nazi war factories were damaged during the war, on the basis that they were American property damaged by Allied attacks.

The posting of this paper on the USENET newsgroups and its reposting by several Internet Websites, including my own at: comes at a critical time in our struggle for the truth about cannabis hemp and the prohibition - the recent passage of Proposition 215 in California, and Proposition 200 in Arizona, to legalize medicinal use of cannabis.

Now, with the recently announced policy of the U.S. Government to emulate a two-bit, third world dictatorship by ignoring not just the will of the people, but the very sanctity of the electorial process itself, we face an escalation of the War on Some Drugs not unlike that of the Viet Nam experience.

The mood of mainstream America is changing, both on the subjects of marijuana and industrial hemp. Beginning a few years ago, many good and brave individuals committed themselves, and not a few resources, to the cause of Cannabis Understanding. The successes of California and Arizona voters in November 1996 stand as silent monuments to all Cannabis activists. There will be more victories in the coming months and years. It is inevitable. The Government's propaganda campaign against Cannabis is coming apart as more and more people are exposed to the truth, not just from the underground press, but from the major networks and, most pointedly, Ted Turner's Cable News Network. But, what is still to be realized, is that the relative dangers or merits of marijuana, medically or socially, is no more than incidental to the "Establishment's" hard-line position to deny the people the right either to use marijuana, or the basic Right of a Free people to change the Law.

To use marijuana is to discover the Great Government/Corporate Lie. And, having discovered the Lie, you automatically become an Enemy of the U.S. Government/Corporate Criminal Enterprise that rules this Nation, both up front and behind the scenes. A lot of us discovered the Big Lie in the 1960s and 1970s. Many others have discovered it since then, enough, in fact, to begin a REAL debate on the subject.

We are, indeed, at war here in America. But we are just now starting to understand who and what we are fighting. The Corporations made a power-play during World War II that effectively consolidated their Power to choose which natural resource would dominate our future.

Only two resources are versatile and potentially available enough to qualify for this honor: Petroleum and Cannabis Hemp. Petroleum is a controllable resource, its production expensive, its products patented, control of the "free" market more certain. Cannabis Hemp is a people's natural resource, as valuable and versatile as petroleum, but under the control of no corporation, bank, or industry. It offers a broad-based, regional economy that would share the wealth of the Earth with the people within the region of Cannabis Hemp production, manufacturing, and transportation. Only Cannabis Hemp offers a truly "free" market.

Only Cannabis Hemp offers a de-concentration of the wealth. Only Cannabis Hemp offers a democratic system of government with an acceptable level of corruption.

What I discovered several years ago is the terrible secret at center of the Marijuana Controversy: Hemp was a Vital War Material that was outlawed just before World War II by Corporations that supported, to a suprising extent, Adolf Hitler's Third Reich - the Nazis.

"Shadow of the Swastika" documents the pro-Nazi, pro-Fascist, anti-American roots of Hearst, Du Pont and Mellon, the present War on Some Drugs, and includes evidence that, after the end of World War II, fugative Nazi war criminals were recruited into U.S.

intelligence agencies, the U.S. State Department, the Republican Party, and more recently, into the Presidential Administrations of the three most anti-cannabis Republicans in modern history: Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and George Bush.

In closing ... Resist ... Recruit ... Educate. Hemp for Victory!

Thank you for your time.

R. William Davis
