MOSCOW: FIRST RESULTS OF GLOBAL DAYS AGAINST THE DRUG WAR

The press conference in the National Press Institute on June 5 has been attended by ten journalists, among them ITAR-TASS, IMA-Press, Radio Mayak, Radio Liberty, Open Radio. The same day services on the press conference have been broadcasted by Radio Mayak (second national radio network, broadcasts in LW, MW, SW, UKW and FM, covers the whole territory of the country and by SW many parts of the world), and by Open Radio (music and information, broadcasts in FM for about two dozens of cities).

The first street table on Saturday, June 6 gave 35 signatures under antiprohibitionist appeal and 48.70 rubles ($7.89) of contributions. On the street table appeared shooting teams of TV Center (Moscow TV channel) and TV Associated Press, as well as a reporter from the same Radio Mayak.

Short service about street table has been shown on TV Center news cast at 17:45.

Radio Mayak transmitted at 19:08 a 5-minute service about street table, Global Days and Transnational Radical Party and its antiprohibitionist proposals. Big pieces of my interview given to Jana Gordeeva (the girl from Radio Mayak, rather known reporter) have been included in the service. Although after the service it was an "editorial" commentary, stupid enough (something like "Radical proposal to legalize soft drugs seem rather controversial, the more than in Holland they are already crying from horror after this experiments"), the general impression is very good. The broadcasting have been then repeated twice: at 02:08 and 08:15 the day after, June 7.

I don't have yet the results from the today's table, but at 14:00 they had already 15 signatures.
