Today the Pope asks the pardon for Joseph O'Dell, the death inmate whose execution date is for 18 December. The Pope sended a personal message to the Apostolic Nunzio to ask him to intervene in favour of the pardon for O'Dell. This news come after the condemn of the Italian Parliament about the death penalty for O'Dell and the demonstration in front of the USA Embassy that has been held yesterday by the organization for the abolition of death penalty: Hands off Cain and Amnesty Intenational.
