Dear friends,

My dear Italian friends whom I know personally or not. I would like only say, that you are happy today. Happy - even without dependence what will happen within the closure of poll stations. Happy - because you already obtain victory over the regime, putting the question of referendum (i.e. question of democracy) in the center of Italian today's political battle.

Here in Russia we - as few radicals, libertarians, anti-militarists - see on you, we study daily what and how are you doing. We know that one day - maybe soon - we will use in our country what you are already implementing in Italy.

I appeal to all who is reading this lines and who is still in doubt about his participation in referendum: PLEASE GO AND VOTE! Think, there are countries and people like my own country who still have no possibility to vote like you. Is it correct do you think not to use your right?

We belive that you will overcome the ignorance and oppression of anti-referendary forces, including - ahime! - mass media.

Please, could you inform use in this conference hour by hour what is happening on the polling stations, because we haven't here Radio Radicale and other media?
