The last Western newsman in Pristina is now hiding from Serb death squads, sneaking out reports by satellite phone and e-mail.Antonio Russo, from Rome's Radio Radical, ignored the expulsion order on foreign journalists and is now hiding in a room rented from an Albanian family.
"They have run away," Russo revealed. "Now I am completely alone and I am frightened.
"I will continue as long as I can.
"It is difficult confirming any news here.
"At the moment, I am trying to collect information on 40 politicians and intellectuals who were arrested."
