The Economic and Social Council,

Taking note of the report of the Trade and Development Board on the second part of its thirty-sixth session,

Requests the Secretary-General to report to the General Assembly at its forty-sixth session, through the Economic and Social Council at its second regular session of 1991, on institutional developments related to the strengthening of international organizations in the area of multilateral trade, taking into account the provisions of paragraph 32 of the Declaration on International Economic Co-operation, in particular the Revitalization of Economic Growth and Development of the Developing Countries, adopted by the Assembly at its eighteenth special session.
